Location:
Schonungen is a little town, next to Schweinfurt. You can reach bigger cities like Würzburg or Bamberg with a train (around 1 hour). The volunteers from Levi e.V. and Förderzentrum will share a flat in the middle of the town.

Description
This is a school for people with disabilities. Your task will be to support the classes for children and youth as well to help during the excursions and exhibitions.
We are an center for children and youth with disabilities. There are around 120 students between 3 and 20 years old in this institution. Our understanding: We consider our facility as a learning and living place for the children and youth who trust us. The individual rooms and buildings, which are surrounded by a park-like outdoor area with a stream, make it is a very fitting environment.
Tasks
The planned role of European volunteers:
– Motorized assistance / support in everyday situations and in learning our students * inside,
– Leisure,
– Easy maintenance tasks in our students.
Selection process
Building Bridges Association members will have preference, please enroll to the association here.
We will study carefully all application and selected candidates will be invite for Skype interview.
For the selection of the volunteers we will need:
– Europass CV with picture (made in the last month)
– Motivational letter, writing that your sending organisation will be “Building Bridges”. We ask all candidates to send a specific letter of motivation – why they want to volunteer with us rather than just a general EVS one.
Remember to write in the motivation letter that your sending institution is “Asociación Building Bridges”.
