Youth 3D is an Erasmus+ KA210 project managed by the Department of Education, Culture and Sports of the Municipality of the City of Riga and the Association YesEuropa Building Bridges, based in Madrid.

YOUTH 3D aims to reduce the gap between young people and institutions. It does not seek to create a new platform; rather, it focuses on developing guidelines that enable young people to use existing digital tools effectively. In this way, Youth 3D aims to foster dialogue and participation among young people.

✔️ Young people 18-30 years old
✔️ Youth organisations working in Digital Youth Participation
✔️ Digital Youth Participation stakeholders
✔️ Public or private entities wanting to learn how to boost Digital Youth Participation

  • Promote youth participation in digital democracy, reducing abstention through accessible digital tools.

  • Improve digital literacy, supporting young people’s ability to recognise fake news and use platforms responsibly.

  • Create innovative digital tools, such as a guide and a “thermometer” to assess online participation platforms.

  • Encourage dialogue between young people and political leaders through spaces for debate.

  • Reduce mistrust towards digital culture, increasing young people’s interest and confidence in participating in digital democratic processes.
  • Interviews with young people and institutional representatives to understand their views on youth participation.

  • A catalogue of digital participation platforms, assessing their level of accessibility and inclusion.

  • Two local workshops for young people and one international online seminar for youth workers and policymakers.

  • A Guide to Digital Democratic Participation.
