You must: possess good knowledge of the German and English language
 … possess a driving license type B
 … be able to concentrate and remember things well
 … ideally have experience in working with youths
 … possess various manual skills
 … enjoy working with children and youths (playing, talking, do handicrafts)

tasks:

In the program area:
o Working mainly with children and youths who visit the castle
o Run workshops on your own
o Care taking of the materials in the program office and lending game and sport articles
o Support the group leader with planning trips and scouting games

 Cross-departmental tasks:
o Welcoming arriving groups, showing them around the castle and grounds, explaining the rules
o Support the groups in their questions and wishes
o Working in the kiosk, ordering, receiving and selling goods
o Inspection of the rooms and the camping grounds when groups depart
o Taking out the trash from the kitchen and guest areas
o Transport the guest’s luggage with the tractor
 Occasionally, volunteers may also be asked to assist in the kitchen, housekeeping or in the janitorial area

Working hours

 38 hours of work per week
 Working on weekends is required (therefore you will get appropriated time off in lieu)
 Working on public holiday is sometimes required
 You will have 24 days of vacation

Accommodation and extras

You will stay within the organization where you will get your own room
 breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided in the castle
 if you’re absent during your days off, the meals will be replaces with an appropriated amount of money

 you will be provided with a bicycle from the organization during your stay
 Monthly pocket money of 200 €
