Please remember to bring all the materials (video, presentations, music, files) you need for the activities and for the intercultural evening before coming.

About the intercultural evenings:

We will be grateful if you can bring something to show the participants elements to describe your culture and traditions in a non-formal way. Feel free to bring and organize whatever you want, you’ll have the chance to cook for the your national evening.

A short theatre performance inspired by one of your national fairy tales to express any value/civic lessons relevant for the life of the young people and to make our european society better.

Sobre las actividades de las becas Italia verano

The mission of the «Youth 4 change» youth exchange project is to support youth for following their true meaning in life, towards their personal development and the development of the community. We believe that each young people has strong inner resources, passions, talents, ideals, dreams. But nowadays, many young people tend to be very passive, waiting for others to offer them solutions for their own life, there fore we want to promote an active ways of life.

Through «Youth 4 change» we can connect young people from european countries and share an educational process to empower the new generation active participation skills, so youth participation is key to creating a better future. Almost half the world’s population is under 25, if we unite and take a leadership role, we can inspire and instigate real change.

We will gather 40 young people (7 pax + a 1 leader) from 5 European countries for 10 days in Crodo to awake the desire in young people to take actions, give them opportunity to learn from each other, develop their ideas and become active members of their community. Non formal education activities will provide knowledge and space for young people to reflect upon social inclusion and opportunities that they can use to take actions and build their own future.

Before the exchange participants will be required to develop and create short video interviews to active youth leaders, with the goal of sharing with their “international friends» some positive stories of youth active citizenship.

The initial video interviews will be valued at the beginning of the exchange to ispire young people. After this introduction participants will work in several theatre, photo and creative workshops recognising goals and potential in them, discovering ways where they can realise their ideas.

We believe young people have unique insights, experiences and recommendations that can make decision making more effective. Our exchange will empower young people in influencing local decisions that affect their lives and to contribute to drive community development.

This youth exchange also will be opportunity for young people to discover intercultural richness of Europe trought presenting their countries, cultures and use intercultural dialogue as a tool to understand their own backgrounds and realise their European identity.The results of the project will be presented in a public event held in the frame of a popular Fest in an italian alpin village.

The hostel has already hosted several youth exchanges. There’s everything to guarantee a comfortable residence for all the participants, only participants will be requested to share some multiple rooms (but only shared with the other pax of the youth exchange).You’ll be asked to bring your hown towels and hair-drier.

For any special need or problem about the food we’ll have the possibility to arrange customized meals.

It’s strongly recommended that if you have any particular needing about food you inform us before coming in order that we can be prepared to manage it.

Condiciones viaje de las becas Italia verano Erasmus+

Members of the coordinating team will assist partners and/or participants to purchase travel tickets and choose the most suitable route to the venue of the project.  Each participant will receive a reimbursement form; participants’ travel costs will be reimbursed according to the funding rules of the ERASMUS+ program.

Reimbursement will be done by bank transfer to each sending organization (which will then reimburse the participants) just after organisation will receive all original both way travel documents from all participants (round trip boarding passes, flight itinerary, bus or train tickets).

Some suggestions to organize local transfer from the airport

If you arrive by plane to Milano Malpensa Airport:

The Airport is about 60 Km (about 1,30 hour) far from Verbania city Centre. A shuttle bus (Comazzi Service) links Milano airport to the city of Gravellona Toce. The service is done by reservation only. A one way ticket costs 13,00€ and can be bought directly on the bus, but it is compulsory to book the bus in advance (please only let us know and we will do this). Time table of the shuttle departures from the airport are visible at this link: http://www.comazzibus.com/orari/e_domo_malpensa.pdf

From Gravellona Toce to Verbania there are buses (each 20 minutes) that will take you in 20 minutes to Verbania. The tickets can be bought directly on the bus, with an increase of 50 cents (it’s around 3 € one way).

Otherwise, a shuttle bus links Milano Malpensa airport to Milano Centrale railway station (Malpensa Shuttle service – AIR PULMAN Spa). A one way ticket costs 10,00€ and can be bought directly in the airport of Milano Malpensa.

– at the airport: at the exit to Terminal 1 (floor arrivals – between exit 3 and exit 4);

– at the Milano Centrale railway station: out the station.

The bus stop where you need to leve the bus is: Milano “stazione centrale” (central station of trains).

From Milano Centrale you can take a train (direct line to Verbania-Fondotoce railway station). Once arrived at the station of Verbania-Fondotoce railway station, you need to take a bus to Verbania. We will come to the bus stop andpick you up to go to Verbania youth hostel. The bus stop is in front of the out of the railways station.

The cost for each route (the 1st and the last day) are considered as travel costs and will be charged to each participants.

If you arrive by plane to Bergamo Orio Al Serio Airport:

the Airport is about 145 Km far from Verbania city centre. A shuttle bus links Bergamo Orio Al Serio airport to Milano Centrale railway station (Orio Al Serio Shuttle Service). The ticket price starts from € 5 and can be bought directly on the bus. There are buses from 3.00 am until 23.40.

Recommendations

Remember to bring with you all the travel documents related to your journey: e ticket (with prices), boarding pass/card, train and bus tickets. It is very important for your travel reimbursements. Travel tickets can be only reimbursed if you have original documents and boarding passes with you. Even if you send anything by email, please bring all of them at the training.

You should complete registration in 2 steps:

1. Please send your application form, CV and motivation letter to asociacionbb@gmail.com. Remember to write in the motivation letter that your sending institution is “Asociación Building Bridges”. All documents written in english you can send to: asociacionbb@gmail.com with subject «Exchange Italy Bellomo.YOUR NAME.YOUR SURNAME«. We give you creative ideas about how to create a good CV in English.

Selected participants will receive the detailed infosheet after the selection process.

2. Pay the registration fee (40€) by Paypal or bank transfer to :Asociación Building Bridges, CIF G85466886. This registration fee includes one year membership to our National and International activities. 

 * It is compulsory to send application form, CV and motivation letter and pay the registration fee at the same time in order to be within the pre-selection process.

If you are not selected by the sending or hosting organisation, we will reimburse the fee. Please see conditions of Erasmus+ grants
