Descripción plazas voluntariado en Italia

The SHORT-TERM EVS will be involved in the after-school activities for local kids implemented at the beginning of the school year in the afternoon.
The objective of the workshops is to entertain kids by creating learning opportunities through sport, music and through intercultural and linguistic activitie, especially thanks to the use of English.
They will work both together, both in small group of 4 volunteers scheduling different working time.
Moreover, they will be involved in the support of the implementation of several festivals that will happen in that area in autumn, that is the best period for it; in fact, during the first weekend of October there will be the mushroom festival, during the second the honey one, during the third the chestnut. November can be used to work on the implementation of the promotional video that the volunteers can shoot during the October festivals.

Perfil

No previous experience, knowledge and skills are required for carrying out the tasks of the project activities. All the necessary skills
and knowledge for carrying out the tasks can be gained during the project.
The only requirement is to have a positive active attitude and willingness to support the development of the local community doing positive actions.
It’s also necessary that you send us the profile number that you’ll receive after your registration on European Solidarity Corps portal (https://europa.eu/youth/solidarity_en), that is compulsory to apply for an EVS project.

Condiciones plazas voluntariado en Italia

The short-term volunteers will stay in 3 flat (4 people in each one) in Belforte. The flat are located close to the town Center and they are provided by a kitchen which allows autonomy and private life to the volunteers.
They will receive 150 euros for food allowance that will be tranfer on a monthly basis on the volunteer’s bank account.
They will not need any transport as they can easily move for the town and for the activites by foot.

Proceso de selección SVE en Italia

We will study carefully all applications and selected candidates will be invited for a Skype interview. The selection of volunteers will take place in the upcoming weeks.

For the selection of the volunteers we will need:

– Europass CV with picture (made in the last month) with Skype username included.

– Motivational letter, writing that your sending organisation will be “Building Bridges”. We ask all candidates to send a specific letter of motivation – why they want to volunteer with us rather than just a general EVS one. The volunteer is chosen according to his/her motivation and interest in the project and the activities. It will be paid special attention to cover letters.

– Application form (signed)
