«Senioren Residenz Mirabell» is a comfortable, well-tended residential complex for elderly people. Each apartment offers individual privacy and may be furnished with personal furnishings and mementos. «Senioren Residenz Mirabell» includes public areas like the elegant restaurant with an open air terrace facing the private garden of the residence, the library, a roof terrace, the winter garden dedicated for cultural activities like concerts, lectures, films etc., as well as a wellness-area with indoor-pool, fitness and gymnastic room.
«Senioren Residenz Mirabell» guarantees to its residents a health and nursing service round the clock, provided by well trained employees in the apartments, as well as in the separate high quality nursing home floor.
«Senioren Residenz Mirabell» offers all essential features required for the residents´ s convenience like – apartment cleaning service, laundry service, hairdresser, manicure and pedicure service, physiotherapy, guest accommodation, secretarial service, car parking.
In the tradition of respect for the elderly, 70 staff members are committed to provide a safe and familiar environment and take care for the well being of the residents.

Volunteers will be assisting the regular staff in planning and organizing the daily structure of activities and to accompany residents through these activities.
Activities in which volunteers may be involved for example are:
To compile the biography of residents, to prepare different themes for – and to take part in discussion groups, creative design, games, «brain jogging», planning and organizing and acommplishing seasonal parties and themed parties, to accompany residents to different excursions.
We offer a special advanced skill enhancement in the communication with dement people, bother verbal and nonverbal
Qué deben traer los voluntarios europeos:
Volunteers should be open minded with human skills, able and willing to communicate, interested to discover the experience and wide knowledge of the older generations, the environment requests a certain appreciation towards the elderly. EVS volunteers should also open-minded with their own process of getting older.
Selección de voluntarios europeos Austria
Building Bridges Association members will have preference, please enroll to the association here.
We will study carefully all application and selected candidates will be invite for Skype interview.
For the selection of the volunteers we will need:
– CV with picture (made in the last month) with skype name included
– Motivational letter, writing that your sending organisation will be “Building Bridges”. We ask all candidates to send a specific letter of motivation – why they want to volunteer with us rather than just a general EVS one. The volunteer is chosen according to his/her motivation and interest to the project and to the activities. It will be paid special attention to cover letters.
