Project
The hosting organization is a network of several organizations and they want to host 5 motivated volunteers in 2016. They will take part in:
– Animation with the children & the teenagers
– Awareness-raising activities relative to Europe
– Personal Project
Other activities will be: development of a cultural practice of its choice in connection with the various public; implication in the various organized demonstrations; week of the arts; week of the early childhood, participation in the cultural events (reception companies, logistics); development of awareness-raising activities (cultural mediation, communication), development of communication media (blog, newspaper)…
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The volunteers will be collectively accommdated on the Troyes urban area; single room, necessary equipment, internet.
Food : 50€ a week and by volunteer
Training during the opportunity
– Seminars on arrival and mid-term (organized by the national agency)
– French Courts from October till December (besides the on-line tool)
– Other trainings can be organized according to the activities
Volunteer profile
The volunteers will need to have certain interest for the arts and the culture, the animation in the direction of the young people and a desire for the life in community. For the MPT of Brienne, the licence transports is necessary.
The missions and the proposed activities are wide, every volunteer, within host organization, will have the freedom to decline his own experiences and skills within the proposed activities.
We look for 5 volunteers of nationality difference so that the group has a real multicultural dimension.
How to Apply
We will study carefully all application and selected candidates will be invite for Skype interview. The selection of volunteers will take place in the coming weeks.
For the selection of the volunteers we will need:
– Europass CV with picture (made in the last month) with skype name included
– Motivational letter, writing that your sending organisation will be “Building Bridges”. We ask all candidates to send a specific letter of motivation – why they want to volunteer with us rather than just a general EVS one. The volunteer is chosen according to his/her motivation and interest to the project and to the activities. It will be paid special attention to cover letters.
Remember to write in the motivation letter that your sending institution is “Asociación Building Bridges”.
