Lyon and Villeurbanne.
The youth exchange will take place in Lyon Agglomeration. The participants will be hosted in a youth hostel in town. In the dormitories, the bunk beds are separated by a partition. Everybody will share the public bathroom and toilets.
Lunch and dinner will be taken outside the hostel in another establishment.
The participants will have a working room at their disposal for their activities.
Some excursions will be organized during the week ; the participants will also get the chance to visit Lyon and Villeurbanne (common border at Lyon).

France, Spain, Ukrainia, Turkey, Tunisia
20 participants and 5 youth leaders.
(1 youth leader and 4 participants from each partner organisation).

It is an organisation of non-formal education which promotes intercultural exchanges. Our traditional activity is the international work camps, and one of its main goals is to allow participants to get open-minded and develop non-formal skills as autonomy and self-confidence, by meeting and living during few weeks with people from all over the world with different cultural and social background.

This Youth Exchange project comes from our wish to mix intercultural exchanges with the topic of the democracy and active citizenship in young people minds. We hope that participants from your organisations will be motivated to tackle these issues with us, confront their points of view and make this Youth Exchange project the most fascinating we can as one more step for raise awareness about democracy and active citizenship.

This Youth Exchange deals mainly with the topics of democracy, human rights, active citizenship and the participation of young people. This project is the opportunity to share different experiences related to these items, both at individual and national level. It will allow participants to talk about their realities, but also, thanks to peer-learning process, to exchange ideas and points of view between each other.

This youth exchange also focuses on sharing experiences. Through the Youth Exchange, there will be event analysis, group work, visual presentations, simulation games and outdoor activities. With these activities, the project will give young people the opportunity to share their thoughts on tolerance and mutual understanding. One of the main objectives is to actively involve participants in the project.

During the project process, participants will be aware of the personal responsibility of their community by perceiving the concept of active citizenship and democracy.

Metodología intercambio becas en Francia

The methodology (non-formal education, meetings with professionals, discussions, debates, creative workshops etc) and the structure of the youth exchange will encourage an active involvement of each participant in order to develop competences and new tools for a personal and social development.

Non-formal education tools will be used to create a friendly and caring atmosphere, considering each participant in his or her diversity, personality and culture, so that each person can feel free to express him/herself, share his or her experiences, teach and learn from the others.

All the costs of food and accommodation as well as the program costs will be covered by organizers.
Visa costs will be reimbursed 100% for Turkish, Ukrainians and Tunisians participants.

You should complete registration in 2 steps:

1. Please send your application form, CV and motivation letter to asociacionbb@gmail.com. Remember to write in the motivation letter that your sending institution is “Asociación Building Bridges”. All documents written in english you can send to: asociacionbb@gmail.com with subject “YE France Estelle Democracy.YOUR NAME.YOUR SURNAME“. We give you creative ideas about how to create a good CV in English.

2. Pay the registration fee (40€) by Paypal or bank transfer to :Asociación Building Bridges, CIF G85466886. This registration fee includes one year membership to our National and International activities.

 * It is compulsory to send application form, CV and motivation letter and pay the registration fee at the same time in order to be within the pre-selection process.
