The Parrocchia  it’s the main Parish on Chiari district and it works in different areas of interest; the main aim is to answer to people needs in different ways (aggregation, cultural and spiritual aggregation).

The Oratorio operates from many years through different projects addressed to youngster and families in cooperation also with the local administration.

The addresses are Youngsters and Minors. It is both a spontaneous meeting point for children, adolescents, and a center where various activities are organized according to the age and the requirement of the youth: a place for playing and socializing, “listening groups”, cultural, spiritual and praying groups, sport, theatre and game activities, summer camps and intercultural experience. Activities aim for fostering the encounter and meeting between youth, for supporting personal growth, for going the integration’s process into a bigger society, for offering values and for educating the citizen.

The Youth Centre is also raised to support families’ educational actions, promoting training sessions for parents, discussing educational issues and a point where exchanging information.

It is not neglected training for youth serving in various activities of the oratorio: Grest assistants, sports animators, volunteers of the bar, several educators. Inside the Youth Centre now operate: a full-time priest, two nuns, professional educators, four Italian civil volunteers and two EVS volunteers with an additional approximately 200 local volunteers, who provide service in ways and at different times.

Activities we would like to involve EVS volunteers in are: Project addressed to families with baby from 1 to 3 years old LA CASA DI ALICE .

The activities are based on PLAY. There’s space for workshops, listening stories and psychomotricity according to themes annually planed; FANTAGIOCANDO AND RHYTMIC GYMNASTIC: It’s a motor-ludic development course that, using gymnastic style, develops body language and psychomotricity for little girls from three years old to teenagers; GREST: The Grest is the most typical Cg2000’s summer animation activity, offered to family; behind its realization there’s a long objectives, methodologies and tools processing aimed to involving youngsters. We propose different activities according to age; .

SUMMER CAMPS– in the summer period experiences of summer camps are proposed, mostly in mountains. These moments are really intense opportunities of socialization and community life which can be the start of strong friendships; and can educate to responsibility;

DREAMBAR: educational project of a bar managed by a volunteer group. ACTIVITIES WITH CHILDREN AND PRE ADOLESCENTS 6-14 YO:

LUDOTECA  is an entertainment project addressed to children’s (6-10 years old) & preadolescent’s (11-14 years old) afterschool free time. Ludoteca  is opened from Monday to Friday 16-18. The volunteer will be integrated in the project and will be side by side with the educator and volunteers in the activities. These activities can be free or structural games, or workshops (ex. Cooking lesson, Music Lesson and games, Homeworks support). PEDIBUS PROJECT: It’s a walking route from school to Ludoteca Cg2000. INTERCULTURAL READING: in partneship with the Local Public Library.
