These activities will take place in Dubova, Romania

Nr of participants:

2 from Building Bridges.

24 trainees, 2 of each organization (gender balance is preferable)

Age of the participants:

minimum 20-years old (preferable persons with experience in the field of fundraising)

Partner Countries:

Greece, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, Czech Republic, Portugal, Italy, Estonia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania

Food and accommodation are 100% covered between 13th and 20th included (departure day, breakfast).

General Aspects

‘Fundraisers in action’ is a Erasmus+ mobility project for young people and youth workers.

The project is structured in three mobilities, each mobility will last for 8 days.

The first mobility involves 12 organizations from 12 countries of the Program, including the applicant organization; the second mobility involves 12 organizations from 12 countries of the Program, including 2 organizations from RO (without the applicant organization); the third mobility involves 10 organizations from 10 countries of the Program, including 2 organizations from RO (without the applicant organization).

Main Objectives

1. Increasing the involvement of 24 trainees with ages between 20 and 30 in activities aimed to identify the specific needs of the E+ projects cofunding and the complementary funding sources for 8 days.

2. Increased awareness of 24 trainees on identiffing and attracting money and in-kind funding for E+ projects over 8 days.

3. Acquiring skills working of 24 trainees to identify and to choose management solutions for the stakeholders donors.

Participants profile

– youngsters with the age between 20 and 30

– youth workers must have at least 1 year experience working in alternative fundraising tasks

– valid passport minimum 6 months

– active and eager to experience something new

– willingness to travel in another country

– responsible and conscientious

– person with initiative

– youngsters willing to develop personal skills and competences

– medium English level

It will be no more than 2 organizations from each country. From each partner organization will participate two youth workers (1M+1F).

Accommodation, meal and transportation

The accommodation and meal costs are 100% supported by the applicant organization, and the transportation is supported under the rules of Erasmus+ Programme.

3 meals/day will be provided for us. The meals will be inspired by the traditional Romanian gastronomy.The menu will be adapted by the participant’s special needs written in the application form.

Travel for Spanish participants : 360 euro/participant

We recommend you to find if possible plane tickets for the airport in TIMISOARA which is very close to Dubova rather than Bucharest. After having all the tickets bought from all the participants we will give you extra information regarding how to reach Dubova.

*Participants should cover the difference between this amount and the price of their ticket as a co-financing (if needed).

Participants will have to buy the tickets in advance and they will receive the money as soon as they send the travel documents. YOU CAN ALSO DISCUSS WITH THE NGO FOR THEM TO BUY THE TWO TICKETS PROCESS WHICH WILL BE EASIER FOR THE REIMBURSMENT. THE INVOICE IS MANDATORY.

Conforming to our National Agency, the reimbursement will be made for all the participants through bank transfer in their NGO’s account. The documents needed for the reimbursement are:

-receipt

-invoice

-boarding pass

-train tickets/bus tickets in original

-a declaration which the participants will complete in Romania.

Eligible means of transport: bus, train, personal car, plane.

Participants can arrive a couple days earlier or leave few days later and still cover the transportation through the project budget.

ACCOMODATION OF THE PARTICIPANTS WILL BE MADE IN DOUBLE ROOMS GENDER BASED.

Entertainment

After ending an exhausted day of activity (just kidding: D) we plan to have some more fun as a group. For the intercultural experience, we have the Intercultural nights in which every country will present their country in a different and unique way. So in order for this to happen, please try to bring with you things that will represent your culture. You can bring an ethnic costume or small gastronomic proof, traditional sweets or beverage , flags, you can display short movie, music (we can provide laptop, video projector).

Day 4 : CSR day : who ? what ? where ? when ? why ? / How to get co-financing E+ projects by CSR program / CSR program: Good and bad practices – 2 sessions / Evaluation time / Intercultural evening (3 countries)

Day 5 : Hosting community cultural visit / The interim evaluation of the course / » BEST OF» Evening

Day 6 : “Crowdfunding” / „Silent auctions” / „Online adoptions” / „Fundraising Software Products” for our not-for-profit youth work / Evening Sports at night

Day 7 : „Pay it Forward” / „Trandy bracelets of ribbons”, „Scratch cards”, „Ice bucket change” / Tips & tricks 4 fumdraisers / Karaoke Night

Day 8 : “Fundraisers Test” – 2 sessions / Kino Night

DAY of departure : “Q&A” session / Final Evaluation/ Follow-up planning/ Diplomas, YouthPass, Closing Ceremony/ Free time

Selection process

You should complete registration in 2 steps:

1. Please send your application form, CV and motivation letter to asociacionbb@gmail.com with subject «TC Fundraisers in Action«. Remember to write in the motivation letter that your sending institution is “Asociación Building Bridges”. All documents written in english you can send to: asociacionbb@gmail.com with subject “TC Fundraisers in Action“.

Selected participants will receive the detailed infosheet after the selection process.

2. Pay the registration fee (40€) by Paypal or bank transfer to :Asociación Building Bridges, CIF G85466886. This registration fee includes one year membership to our National and International activities. 

 * It is compulsory to send application form, CV and motivation letter and pay the registration fee at the same time in order to be within the pre-selection process.

If you are not selected by the sending or hosting organisation, we will reimburse the fee. Please see conditions of Erasmus+ grants
