Course description:
We know what does “poverty” mean. We can see it on the street, in the suburbs, etc. etc. We know what does “exclusion” mean. Sometimes we are excluded… We can name these problems. But if we know how to solve them? Old golden quote say that the poor should receive the fishing rod not a fish. But if we know how the fishing rod should look like? culturART should be our attempt to find fishing rod in culture and art areas. Young people from Italy, Spain, Latvia, Slovakia and Poland will meet in Toruń to think about fighting with poverty and exclusion. Common project will show that dance, music and painting are the good ways for these actions. We believe that young people who will participate in art and culture can change their social position and make their life better. We and our Partners are very motivated and determined to realize this project, that is why we applied to Polish National Agency of Erasmus+.
Our project will inspire young European to deconstruct stereotypes and stigmas attached to poverty and social exclusion. We will organize music, painting and dance workshops. We will prepare happening as the final result of workshops. Every form of our activities will show us how we can use it for combating poverty. Our project will have many intercultural aspects and European dimensions. We prepare city game which will show every participant connections between Torun and their countries. Our project will take place in Torun from 3rd to 10th of August of 2015. Our exchange will have 30 participants: five young persons and one tutor from each country. We also plan preparatory visit and some activities after exchange. We would like to edit folder with photos and texts about our activities prepared by all participants during international youth exchange

The hotel has its own monitored parking, a bar, 2 conference rooms (one air-conditioned) and 20 rooms equipped with TV sets with SAT, telephone and wireless internet access.
